What inspired you to become a wedding planner?
After working in an elite bridal boutique (which I loved), schooled as a teacher, planning my own wedding and having the joy of helping people, I knew that there could not be a more perfect career choice in this world for me.
I’m an organizer, detailed minded person with an art background. I believe in being prepared for any circumstance and I’m excellent in emergencies. I can be extremely flexible and adaptable from years of moving and traveling through out the U.S. and living in Europe.
These skills and my other natural talents lend well to the wedding planning business. They are all necessary in helping couples like you to enjoy their engagement, to bring their personalities into their wedding day and allows them to feel confident about their wedding experience. The fact that my job never feels like work is one huge reason I do what I do.
What sets you apart from other wedding planners?
I’m a full-time Wedding Planning and Design company. This is what I do full-time, not something I fit in after a “day job”. This allows me to offer my brides an exceptional customer service by responding in a timely manner. Your questions, concerns, and dreams are my priority.
You will find that I’m a naturally hard worker (coming from German stock) and giving 150% to anything I do is part of my makeup. I’m extremely trustworthy, I’m a “tell it like it is person”, easy to talk to, a great team player as well as a strong leader and the type of person that feels very responsible for how your wedding day turns out. I’m a very organized person who believes in being prepared for any circumstance and I’m excellent in emergencies and can be extremely flexible and adaptable.
I have 10 years of experience running a successful full service wedding planning company, helping hundreds of couples get married, and I have been trained and educated as a professional wedding planner through the Association of Bridal Consultants.
I work with sensational vendors who are professionals and deliver quality products every time. You can be confidence in these wedding vendors, because they will match your style, personality, and budget.
I never stop learning. I attend professional associations, state and national conferences to keep up to date in the ever-changing wedding industry. I do keep up with trends; however, I do believe that what makes a wedding timeless and classic is that it reflects who you are as a couple, right now.
I am based out of Cary, North Carolina and I assist brides and grooms in the area and the surrounding states. My service area is limited on purpose, because I am an expert in my area and offer you only the best!
I have a passion for planning weddings, which you will experience in our conversations and planning sessions. I know the secrets and the system in creating a fantastic wedding day that is customized, personalized and centralize around who you are and not who you think you shall be. Because of this my brides are able to relax, let lose, enjoy their wedding planning and their wedding day.
Will I lose control of my wedding if you plan it for me?
You will remain in control. A great planner is merely a creative extension of you as a couple. My job, as your planner, is to help you figure out exactly what you want from your wedding experience. Then I guide you along the way, giving you ideas, inspiration, and much-needed support. This is completely your day, and it will be yours in every way.
Who would benefit from working with you?
You will benefit from working with me if you want your dream wedding, but you don’t have the time, resources, or know-how to get it done. If you already have the design and feel in mind, but you have no idea how to bring it all together, you’re a perfect candidate as well. Whether you have the know-how or are totally overwhelmed by all the information and options available to you, I offer several packages and customization to fit every couples needs & wants.
Who would not benefit from working with you?
Please know that I love assisting brides and their families in planning their weddings, but we must be a good match for one another in order to create “your” beautiful day. So, if you are not sure about hiring a wedding planner, I suggest you take a hard look at yourself before we get started. You need to evaluate your know-how to get this done as well as how much time, patience, and creativity you have to bring your ideas together.
Will you work with vendors who I really want to work with or have already contracted?
Absolutely! In fact, this is how I came to know a lot of the vendors with whom I currently work. It is not a requirement that you work only with vendors I know and recommend. However, you can feel confident knowing that my excellent team of vendors are there if you need them.
Do you have liability insurance?
Yes, we do have liability insurance and are covered through State Farm Insurance that protects us and you.
Do you accept credit cards, and do you offer payment plans?
Yes. I happily accept all major credit cards. An initial deposit is required with your signed contract; this reserves your wedding date. We then set up a convenient monthly payment plan for you (if you desire), which will have you paying off the balance a month prior to your wedding.
